INDIVIDUAL NUTRITION COACHING FAQ’s

What is the difference between the 28 Day Challenge & Individual Coaching?

  • More individual support and accountability.

  • Monthly in person meeting (30mins) (*or fortnightly if you wish at an additional cost).

  • Specific education and tools for you, not generalised to the group setting.

  • Specific habit building for your goals

  • Regular check ins via the app

  • Monthly InBody Scans and measurements.

Calorie & Macro Counting

  • Want to track food in a food logging app but don’t know how many calories you need to sustainably achieve your goals? Or want to take it a step further and work with specific macros you should be eating?

  • If you choose this method, I will provide you with a breakdown and we will work together to analyse the data and make adjustments as required.

Why macros too?

  • Calories will determine weight loss or weight gain, but macros will support our understanding in how you are fuelling your body for everyday life and the training you are doing. It will also help us ensure that if you are losing weight, it is fat and not muscle!

I don’t want to track my food/count calories!

  • While collecting data (through food tracking) is a very useful tool, counting calories it is not for everyone!
We will follow the Plate Method and the Hand Portion guide, while also ensuring your snacks are balanced too. I may ask you to write down what you eat or take photos of your meals for reference to better support you.

Do you tell me what to eat?

  • Nutrition Coaching focuses on teaching you habits and tools you need for long term sustainable success!

  • It is not a meal plan that you follow for X weeks and then you are where you wanted to be, it is about being flexible in your life!

  • The flexibility allows you to still enjoy going out for meals with friends, you can still attend that party without any worry and you can learn to build healthy eating into everyday life!

Is anything off limits?

  • Balance is everything and the key is in moderation.

  • There is no need for elimination of foods. It is about learning to have a healthy relationship with them.
